NIC Law Enforcement Supply Lost Shipment Insurance Policies
NIC adheres to strict order processing procedures, and only uses reputable shipment carriers in order to provide you with the highest level of security, and the most efficient processing times. There are times however, that even when every precaution is taken, there are items that get broken, go missing, etc. This is why NIC offers you, our Lost Shipment Insurance Option. If you select this option during checkout, NIC will repair, or replace at our option, any item in your order, or your entire order if necessary pursuant to the following conditions:

By placing an order with NIC, you hearby agree to the Policies Terms, and Conditions, set forth by NIC.

I. Trackable orders (US Mail, UPS, Express Mail)
  • Orders: Address must be correct from customer. Lost shipment insurance does not apply to orders with incorrect or incomplete addresses.
    • Delivered
      1. All orders that show to be delivered to the shipping address on file will be limited to reshipment of damaged or missing merchandise, or in-store credit of missing or damaged merchandise.
    • Un-Delivered
      1. All orders that show to be lost in entirety or damaged beyond repair will be reshipped in entirety, or in-store credit of entire order, minus Lost Shipment Insurance Premium.
    • Claim must be filed with the respective carrier on all orders with lost/damaged merchandise and or lost orders.
    • NOTE: NIC reserves the right to reship merchandise via carrier/method in which NIC deems necessary to ensure proper delivery.
    • NOTE: All Lost/Damaged Insurance Claims must be submitted with 30 days of order shipment date in order to be valid.
II. Un-trackable Orders
No insurance, or delivery guarantees are available on un-trackable orders. (NO EXCEPTIONS)
Untrackable orders include International Airmail and International Priority Mail

Important Note: If you decline Lost Shipment Insurance on your order and your shipment is lost, damaged, or unreceived, you will need to handle your claim directly with the carrier.
