Custom Order Acceptance Policy

CUSTOM ORDER POLICY:
All of our custom badges are built by Smith & Warren Badge Co. in White Plains NY. (www.smithwarren.com). These are drop shipped directly to you from Smith & Warren after production. All other ID products are produced in our NM Production Facility. Please note the following policies and procedures when ordering your custom ID product.

ALL CUSTOM ORDERS:

  1. Please refer to our General Order Policy here for general questions.
  2. All custom orders are billed up front.
  3. There are no refunds or exchanges on custom ID products.
  4. NIC does not make or reproduce department, government, or school ID's such as, but not limited to:
    • Social Security cards
    • State ID cards
    • Driver's licenses
    • Birth certificates
    • Military CAC cards
    • College ID cards
    • Government ID cards
  5. NIC does not make fake IDs.
  6. All custom items must have properly filled out custom order form to process. A custom item entered into your shopping cart is considered a form. We do not accept verbal confirmation of custom item orders. The custom item form may be mailed, e-mailed or faxed to us if not placing an order online through the shopping cart.
  7. We may require a letter of authorization depending on the request of the badge. (NOTE) All custom ID requests that pertain to, or are affiliated with any any local, federal, or state government agency, entity, and or corporation will be subject to proper authorization before production of such product. You will be required to submit copies of 1 or all of the following documents for our records.
    • State Issued Drivers License or ID Card (Front and Back images)
    • Department issued ID card (Front and Back)
    • Letter from your Agency authorizing you to possess the ID product your are attempting to purchase. This letter must be submitted on Agency Letterhead and be signed and dated by your commanding officer, or other authorizing official.
  8. Failure to produce the necessary documents to authorize the purchase of your ID product will result in the cancellation of your order, (subject to our cancellation policy), and a report to the proper authorities informing them of your intent to purchase an ID product without proper authorization.
  9. After approving reviewed verification documents, NIC will continue processing your order. If you wish to ensure your documents have been accepted, please contact NIC. You will only receive reminders of missing documents, as each order is processed by hand and individual confirmations lengthen our order processing times.
  10. Orders with custom items will remain on hold until any/all required forms and items have been received. These items will be canceled if documents are not received within 30 days and will be subject to cancellation according to our cancellation policy.
  11. Canceled custom items may be subject to a cancellation fee. Please see our cancellation policy for details.
  12. NIC will take into consideration the spelling of common words and phrases and correct these types of typographical errors on ID's and badges. Outside of these common words, NIC cannot assume other words as misspelled and will produce your item exactly as you have submitted on your form.
  13. Once a completed customized item form has been received by NIC, corrections and/or updates are not permitted.
  14. Rush orders may be accepted on a case by case basis. Please contact our customer service department for more details.
  15. By placing an order with NIC, you hearby agree to the policies, terms, and conditions set forth by NIC.

 

CUSTOM ITEM POLICIES:

  1. Custom Badges
    • Custom badges take 4-6 weeks (Rush program badges' delivery times vary. Call for details on our Rush program.)
    • All custom badge text is in all capital letters.
  2. Custom Folios
    • All customization information will be entered on the ID in standard format to best fit in the space available on the ID. All ID's text is in all capital letters and has no punctuation. NIC does not accept special formatting requests.
    • Pictures can be sent via US Mail, or a digital copy (.jpg, .gif, .tiff etc.) can be emailed to images@nles.com
    • Photos should be no smaller than 1.5 inches tall
    • NIC will crop photo to best fit on ID
    • Requests to modify photo, remove background objects, etc are not accepted
    • Photos are not guaranteed to be returned after ID production
    • Signatures can also be sent via US Mail, or faxed to us at 318-688-1367
    • Signatures should be in black ink on white, un-lined paper ONLY
    • Only clear signatures will be accepted. Photos of signatures, signatures in colored inks, on lined papers, or blurry scans are not accepted
    • Custom Folios take 10 business days to process before shipping. (Rush program folios' delivery times vary. Call for details on our Rush program.)
    • All folios are sent by trackable delivery method.
  3. Custom Pro ID's
    • All customization information will be entered on the ID in standard format to best fit in the space available on the ID. All ID's text is in all capital letters and has no punctuation. NIC does not accept special formatting requests.
    • Pictures can be sent via US Mail, or a digital copy (.jpg, .gif, .tiff etc.) can be emailed to images@nles.com
