Custom Order Acceptance Policy
CUSTOM ORDER POLICY:
Thank you, for choosing NIC Law Enforcement Supply for your custom ID needs. All of our custom badges are built by Smith & Warren Badge Co. in White Plains NY. (www.smithwarren.com). These are drop shipped directly to you from Smith&Warren after production. All other ID products are produced in our LA Production Facility. Please note the following policies and procedures when ordering your custom ID product.
ALL CUSTOM ORDERS:
- Please refer to our General Order Policy here for general questions.
- All custom orders are billed as we receive them.
- There are no refunds or exchanges on custom ID Products.
- Please include daytime telephone numbers with your order.
- We may require a letter of authorization depending on the request of the badge. (NOTE) All custom ID requests that pertain to, or are affiliated with any any local, federal, or state government agency, entity, and or corporation will be subject to proper authorization before production of such product. You will be required to submit copies of the following documents for our records.
- State Issued Drivers License or ID Card (Front and Back images)
- Department issued ID card (Front and Back)
- Letter from your Agency authorizing you to possess the ID product your are attempting to purchase. This letter must be submitted on Agency Letterhead and be signed and dated by your commanding officer, or other authorizing official.
- Copy of CWP, or CCP, (if ordering CWP product)
- Failure to produce the necessary documents to authorize the purchase of your ID product will result in the cancellation of your order, (subject to our cancellation policy), and a report to the proper authorities informing them of your intent to purchase an ID product without proper authorization.
- Any custom order submitted without custom ID forms, must have the proper forms filled out and submitted to us within 10 Business Days from the receipt of the order, or it will be subject to cancellation according to our cancellation policy.
- By placing an order with NIC, you hearby agree to the Polices Terms, and Conditions, set forth by NIC.
CUSTOM ID POLICIES:
- Custom Badges
- All custom badge orders must have properly filled out custom order form to process. (NO TELEPHONE INFO!) Must have daytime phone number. We do not accept verbal confirmation of custom badge orders. The custom badge form may be mailed, e-mailed or faxed to us.
- Custom badge are pre-billed.
- Custom badges take 4-6 Weeks, (NO EXCEPTIONS!)
- All custom badges must be sent by trackable delivery method
- Custom Folios
- All custom Folio orders must have properly filled out custom order form to process. (NO TELEPHONE INFO!) Must have daytime phone number! We do not accept verbal confirmation of custom folio orders. The custom folio form may be mailed, e-mailed or faxed to us.
- Custom Folios take 10 business days to process before shipping. (NO EXCEPTIONS!)
- All folios must be sent by trackable delivery method.
- Custom PVC ID
- All custom PVC ID orders must have properly filled out custom order form, signature, and photo to process. (NO TELEPHONE INFO!) Must have daytime phone number! We do not accept verbal confirmation of custom PVC ID orders. The custom PVC ID form may be mailed, e-mailed or faxed to us.
- Pictures can be sent via US Mail, or a digital copy (.jpg, .gif, .tiff etc.) can be emailed to images@nles.com
- Should be at least 2” square
- Signatures can also be sent via US Mail, or faxed to us at 318-688-1367.
- Custom PVC ID’s take 10 business days to process before shipping. (NO EXCEPTIONS!)
- All PVC ID’s must be sent by trackable delivery method.
- Body Armor
- All body armor must ship by UPS to Physical Address Only.
- All custom body armor must have properly filled out custom order form to process. (NO TELEPHONE INFO!) Must have daytime phone number!
- Body Armor takes 8 Weeks, (NO EXCEPTIONS!)
