On the front of this four color, double sided XBI ID card, there is room for a photo, an issued agent number, and an issue and expiration date. With assigned locations for personal information, special skills and weapons qualifications on the reverse side of this card, the front also states: The person pictured and identified by this document is a Special Agent for the XBI. He/she is legally authorized under the North American Security Act of 1953, section 12, article 5 as amended April 2, 1966. Warning: Under penalty of law, all investigative procedures, questions, and answers are exempt from the Freedom of Information Act, and are classified as pertinent to National security.
