Have you ever heard of the Arizona rangers? Gambling, Prostitution, Copper and Silver Mining, Cattle Rustling... The Arizona Territory was the last in the Wild West. In 1901 the Arizona territory sought to join the United States. It was overwhelmed with crime and under constant siege from raiders crossing its southern border from Mexico. That year the territorial governor created the Arizona Rangers. The governor put his friend Burt Mossman in command of the rangers, which consisted of 14 men. Their task was seemingly impossible...to clean up a completely lawless landmass that covered 114,000 square miles. In a scant seven years they did the impossible and made the territory safe. On February 14, 1912 a kinder and gentler Arizona became the 48th state. Finished in antiqued silver, it measures 3 1/8-inches x 3-inches and has a sturdy pin attachment. You can now own a piece of history and have a great conversation piece also! Don’t wait; order your own Arizona Rangers Badge today!
